Trail Description 12 miles of nice, wooded trails. These trails are not very rocky or steep. Shoes on horses are not necessary. Several small stream crossings for watering horses. Maps available at check-in station.

Campground There is room for several trailers to park and camp on a gravel lot. Horses must be picketed or tied to trailers. There is a $2 parking fee, $5 riding fee for day riders and if camping, an additional fee of $ per night, per trailer.

Directions Phone 706-456-2602 From Athens and Watkinsville, GA take Hwy 15 to Greensboro. Get on I-20 East and get off at exit #148 - Crawfordville, GA. Go left on Hwy 22 about 2 miles to a 4-way stop. Take a right at the junction onto Hwy 278. Go approx. 1 mile into Crawfordville. At the red light go left onto Park St. Go under RR trestle. At dead-end, turn left onto Monument St. Take the 1st right on Alexander St into the park. Follow signs to check-in station.

 More Difficult (Moderate hills over consistent surface; possibly some narrow trails and short steeper slopes) 
 Rigorous (Easy to More Difficult for rider but physically challenging for horse such as on a level surface through deep sand) 
 Challenging (Possible rocky, uneven surface, steep slopes, uncleared trails, faster flowing streams and other obstacles that lead to more difficult riding for rider and horse)
